Middle Earth vs. Mesa Court

pink, i truly have no idea cause i'm the first one to go to college and apparently i'm screwed... what had seemed "right" is now wrong

I think if it's a 3.0 (not counting any extra AP or honors points), you're set.

Not counting? I thought it was weighted.

I don't think I know the difference than lol. I know one counts AP and one doesn't. But I have yet to remember which is which

You are required to keep a 3.0 WEIGHTED in the A-G courses you listed on your application. Anything lower than that or not completing classes listed on your application as "in progress or planned" is grounds for your acceptance being rescinded.

shoot. im scared.
my grades are dropping like mad.

"shoot. im scared.
my grades are dropping like mad."

Mine too. Thankfully I had a 3.33 UW (probly a 3.5+ W) last semester so I have some breathing room.

yea i read the contract and it said..."at least a weighted 3.0 GPA sooo just maintain that three oh guys! lol same with me -__-"

hey guys! i read on the housing site that you cant bring microwaves and fridges?? but i know a current freshman who lives in MC who brought her own fridge..so wts up?

it has to be a certain size (but who actually checks anyway). Go for it, bring one.

^ ahah thats true thanks for the info =]

On the tour they told us to be careful with bringing your own fridges and microwaves (things that take up a lot of wattage), because you are limited to the amount of electricity you can use (sounds crazy I know, but they don't have ACs because of the high electricity usage=more money). I would call to make sure.

You Are? Lol

i leave my computer on all the time.

I don't know, thats just what they told me on the tour.

I think i've already decided on Mesa Court, but which hall is the most social and with the best atmosphere?

yeah I'm going to choose Mesa Court, just need to choose the best hall. cough cough.

You can't really choose our hall. You can choose a themed hall or general interest hall but that's it. I'd go for the general interest hall, that's what I'm in right now and it's worked out well.

If you want to study, go for the academic halls.

I hear there's a TON of partying going on in general interest halls if that's what you want.

How do some people already know if they are staying in Mesa or Middle?
Is there something important that I completely missed? =/

no they are just deciding to go to mesa thats all.. so arent we suppose to be getting the housing contract soon?
