Middle Eastern Studies Major

I am positive that I want to do a Major in Middle Eastern Studies. Will do this major help me get into a better school because few schools offer this major and they are all top tier schools such as the Ivies. I have prior experience with Arabic and by the end of high school I will have had 3 years or 6 semesters of Arabic. Will my Arabic classes and my goal of attaining a degree in Middle Eastern Studies help me get into a better school because it is a rarity and is this a well developed spike?

I am also a white male who has no familial ties to the Middle East.

It makes you a slightly more interesting applicant, but no, schools will look at dozens of factors that are far more important than choice of major. A field/career of interest is not a back door into a top college.
