Middle Eastern Studies Resources?

Would anyone have any resources/recommendations/etc. for pursuing middle eastern studies at the graduate level? I'm currently a freshmen at an 'elite' LAC, studying Arabic among other things. The Arab language and culture fascinates me, and I am entertaining thoughts of pursuing it further. I have options of more advanced Arabic language courses (modern standard and colloquial) at UPenn, as well.
