middle name on common app

<p>So, I don't know whether to list my middle name...technically, I have a middle name, but I've never used it. Usually I just give my middle initial, so on my transcript, for instance, it says "LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME MIDDLEINITIAL." </p>

<p>But on the common app, it asks for a <em>complete</em> middle name. I should just leave it blank, right? Would it be confusing if a college saw my middle initial on everything but no middle name on my app?</p>

<p>It would not be confusing at all. Assuming your legal name includes your full middle name, than by all means include the full middle name on the common app. You wouldn’t want to lose eligibility for certain things just because you didn’t include your middle name!</p>
