I think its nationwide but i know that in 7th grade i was offered to take the sat through some program. I was just wondering out of the people who did this, how did your scores look compared to now? Obviously now is going to be better but did your early scores reflect your scores now?

Mine were as follows:
7th grade
530 math
500 reading
490 writing

Current best scores(although after today's test i think they may go up)
730 math
610 reading
590 writing

So it looks for me like my reading and writing scores almost had the same difference while math increased way more than those two. Definitely understandable, i am a lot better than math. So how did yours look compared to middle school?

No, they should not mirror your scores in total value. If you are asking whether the comparison betwixt sections would be similar, that is also questionable. It 7th grade I took it and was in pre algebra, so I hadn’t ever seen many of the material on the test, however the Reading and Writing were mostly things I could reason out or had seen before. Now, I expect to score best or tied for best on math.

I know they wont be as high unless you dropped never went to high school but then what would be doing taking the sat. I was honestly just wondering how other peoples compared. I know some people who had higher scores than me in middle school but i beat them by a decent amount now

I believe when I was in the 9th grade (middle school in my country) I used to score 1300ish. I have 2380 now. I don’t think I suddenly became smart or anything. It’s just that the SAT is not friendly to those who aren’t used to its format. In other words, It’s a stupid test.

My recommendation is that students take as many SATs/PSATs they can before 9th grade as the College Board destroys all SAT/PSAT records once the student enters 9th grade.

Imagine a student who has taken the SAT a dozen times before entering the 9th grade. That student would have quite a leg up versus all those juniors who take the SAT for the first time. And the best thing is - no one will know ;).

Knowing the test is key. In 7th grade, I got an 1880, two months later, I got a 2050! Now, I am in 8th grade and after a practice test i am at about 2200

I got a 2060 in seventh grade, getting ready to take the test this upcoming fall. Eeek! I haven’t prepared at all in the past, this should be fun…
