Middle State Tennesse University- HELP ME!

Hi, I’m a Freshman in CC and I’m looking for schools that has commercial writing and recording classes. My first major is to do animation and I have other schools in mind.
However, I want to use my craft in music. I write, play piano, and sometimes sing.

Anyways, I’m thinking about applying to MTSU. I usually use student reviews for student comments.
I went on there and I’m seeing stereotyped comments about black people. I’m black.
However, I’m not the loud, ghetto type. I’m more shy and quiet; Everyone who I meet tells me that I have a soft voice.
I’m worried about going there because of those comments it’s more negative than good.
I need a school like this but most people seem to hate it.

Can someone clarify all of these negative comments for me? Are they biased?
Is Middle State Tennessee university a good school overall? Is it overcrowded?

One important thing to remember about reviews, is that often only people who had either an unbelievably good or unbelievably bad experience take the time to write them.

I’d suggest that you contact the department you are interested in at MTSU, ask about transferring in, and ask if they have any recent transfers or other current students who would be willing to answer a few questions for you about their experiences there.
