Middlebury Admissions Office closed for 3 months

Any Middlebury students available to provide some perspective on our visit on November 5 by walking around with us for a half hour? It seems that by the first date we could visit this fall there are no tours and no help from Admissions due to a major renovation. Strange since NJ schools are closed that Thursday/Friday and many of us make the New England visits then. However, we don't find it as useful to just visit without a structured tour. If any Middlebury student could spare a half hour for my daughter on the afternoon of November 5 it would be appreciated!

Isn’t the Admissions department working out of another building? This sounds crazy for them just to stop giving tours, etc. wow.

I think this is a time when info. sessions and tours decrease anyway. Williams, for example, seems to eliminate information sessions after November 1 and decreases tours from 3 or 4 a day to 2 until November 22 when everything ceases until January 3 when a few tours start up. However, it does seem frustrating. Midd does have “senior admissions fellows” who are described on the website and their e-mail addresses are provided. I assume that you can e-mail questions to them and maybe one would show you around.

you should post this in the Midd forum.
