I am a junior at a pretty competitive public high school. Visited Middlebury recently and really liked it. Taking a lot of AP and honors. 5's on Bio and US History. 800 on US History SAT II. 780 on Bio SAT II. SAT 800/700/660 on CR/Math/Writing. Top 10% of class with a 3.85 weighted GPA.

I lived in a small Alaskan village until middle school. (My parents were teachers there.) I am half Inupiaq Eskimo

In case you didn’t know, you can submit three SAT II scores instead of the SAT I or ACT for admission to Middlebury. Your SAT IIs are fantastic so I would take another one if I were you. Also, what is your unweighted GPA?

Thanks for the advice about the SAT II. My unweighted GPA right now is 3.44. I am taking all honors and AP classes this semester and doing well so I think the numbers will rise.

I think if are trending upwards in your grades, and taking the most difficult curriculum available to you, along with your test scores, you are right in there. And Alaska doesn’t hurt in the least. And… at the risk of being flamed somewhat… there is the fact that boys at this point in history are being accepted at a greater rate than girls (simply to keep the ratios relatively even).

Well, girls are just better students(I’ll put on my asbestos suit…)It seems that those scores are awesome, so I’d concentrate on improving those grades.
