On Middlebury College's CommonApp supplement they ask if you have attended an information session or campus visit of Middlebury. Does this mean that interest (as in actually going there and visiting) is an important factor in their selection process? I live a 4 hour drive away. Should I go visit them sometime between now and mid-December?

Yes. You should visit.

Yes. Demonstrated interest counts to some extent. Colleges like to see people who truly want to attend. I would encourage you to visit. PS. I knew someone who spent a summer studying at Middlebury and absolutely loved it. Good luck.

I agree. Go visit.
