I am deciding between these two schools, and I am uncertain of my choice. I need some opinions. At Middlebury I would try to double major in Economics and German. I would go to Gettysburg as a Presidential Scholar, and I would major in Economics with a minor in Business and German. I also plan to get a Leadership Certificate with their Leadership program. Which school would better prepare me for the job market? Also, which degree would look better to an employer?
Middlebury is one of the very best LACs for both Economics and languages. You certainly know they are the benchmark for languages. Hard to compete with Midd for either of those majors. Actually, to be honest, I’m surprised you’re even asking the question. Gettysburg is a fine school, but the fact that you’re asking the question suggests you haven’t researched this at all, because if you had, the answer should have become immediately evident.
