I'm still trying to decide between Midd and another college, and I noticed there weren't many recent posts about Midd's pre-med/sciences. I was just wondering...

1) How is premed at Midd?
2) How rigorous are the science classes? (As opposed to schools like JHU or Duke)
3) What are the required premed classes generally curved to?
4) Are they of the "weed-out" nature or are they relatively manageable?

I just want to get a general idea of what premed at Midd is like, so any insight at all would be appreciated!

I assume you’ve seen this? It doesn’t answer many of your questions, but it does provide a wealth of info on pre-med options at Middlebury.

At Hopkins, there are reports of students sabotaging other’s results/study efforts, and an overly, unhelpful competitive environment. This won’t happen at Midd.
The classes are very rigorous, so you should be well-prepared both for the MCATS and the eventual med school training. You would want to have a doctor who wasn’t hard working!
