Middlebury SAT advice

I am a rising senior and am planning on applying early decision to Middlebury this fall. I understand that SATs are not the most important part of my application, but does anyone know how much weight Midd puts on SAT subject tests?

I got a 2180 (math: 700, cr: 720, writing 760) on the SAT, but my I'm not very happy with my subject test scores. (lit: 650, chem: 660, math 2: 690) .

Do I have to submit subject tests to Midd? Should I retake the subject tests so I can submit them, or should I retake the SAT to try to improve my math and cr score?

Thanks for your advice. I really appreciate it

Middlebury does not require SAT subject tests. You have a choice to submit the SAT, 3 SAT subject tests, OR the ACT. I would retake the SAT and see if you can improve and also try the ACT. Your SAT scores are very good… if your grades and ECs are good too, you will have a chance. You don’t say where you’re from, but applying early will help and if you’re not from the east coast that will be a plus too. Good luck!

I didn’t send my SAT II scores, but luckily I got in with my SAT I’s. But should you not get into Middlebury ED, you may want to improve them anyway for RD schools that DO require SAT IIs.

I wouldn’t send in the SAT2s, I think they hurt your credibility as a candidate. Plus you do not need them. Your other attributes are more important.

Your SAT IIs don’t help, and might hurt. No reason to send them.
