Middlebury Supplement Essay: Word limit?

<p>Does anyone know what the word limit is for the supplement essay that needs to be sent with the "Middlebury college pre-supplement application"?
I searched the website and the instruction sheet
they just said "attach separate pieces of paper"....</p>
