Anybody else looking? I had my interview a few weeks ago and loved it! I especially like how you did your essay there. I didn't like it at the time, but now I'm glad that it's one less thing to worry about.
I'm looking at Andover and Deerfield as well.
Anybody want to share your thoughts on any schools?

I visited all three schools and I loved them!!

Middlesex - I really liked the coziness of the school. I think I did pretty well on the interview (although I did so-so on the essay writing :( )
Andover - I was overwhelmed by the campus! It was very different compared to Middlesex, but in a good way. :)
Deerfield - I did like the antiquated atmosphere of the school but I also thought that it was a bit gloomy

I'm applying to Andover, St. Paul's, Choate, Middlesex, and Taft. I love all five schools, but have only visited Andover.

Andover - I went to Andover Summer Session last summer and I really enjoyed it. The campus is really nice and the academics are great. Has intramural sports so I can start a new one without being really bad! :)

St. Paul's - I can take two foreign languages here and still get three years (I'm applying for 10th grade) of history, english, science, and math. The campus looks great and the people I've talked to that go here are really nice.

Choate - Really great school. It's pretty close to NYC which is really nice. Also has intramural sports which is what I want for squash and crew, because I haven't played before.

Taft - Great campus and I really like the people I've talked to that go here. Also close to NYC and I've heard the dorms are really nice.

Middlesex - I like the size of MX, but I also like the size of the other schools. haha. Each size has an advantage. I like how close knit MX how they have "The Circle" and everyone goes outside and plays frisbee, make snowmen, stuff like that. It just seems like a fun and friendly school.

I hope I can see all these schools on revisits! :)

yeah, I really like the close-knit feel of it, but again, I'm totally in love with Andover, which is a really big school. Everywhere has it's advantages.

anybody else????

Middlesex was the first school I ever visited. At first, I didn't think the campus was the best because the first time i went there, it was raining and i had a soccer game on the flooded field. But after the visit, it definitely is the friendliest school ever. It's also so good that I'm applying to it too. Normally, i wouldn't even consider a school without a swim team, But middlesex is on my list because it impressed me the most.

do you have specific questions about mx? I have a child who is currently there and would be happy to try to answer them

Do you know how difficult it is to take two foreign languages (French and Spanish) without sacrificing four years of math, english, science, and history?

If he could change one thing about the school, what would he change?
