<p>Are midterm grades at Duke letters only (no +/-)? I'm applying to a program that asks for my midterm GPA, and I know I should have some + and - (since my grades are the only tests I took), but they're only letters on blackboard, so I'm not sure how to calculate my GPA. For the final grade, would there be + and -? I'd be really grateful if someone could help since the application deadline is soon.</p>
<p>Duke definitely has +/- system.</p>

<li>= letter grade + 0.3 (with the sole exception of A+ = 4.0)</li>
<li>= letter grade - 0.3 (with the sole exception of D- = 1.0)</li>
