Midterm Grades

So, I heard that most colleges don't look at senior year grades the same way they do other years and that as long as you are passing all of your classes you should be okay...but I'm still worried. I have gotten all A's through junior year except for one B in Math Junior year, but this year because of college apps and my heavy extra-curricular load, I am probably going to get at least 2 B's in my 7 classes. Will this ruin my chances of getting in? Do universities like Penn look at these grades when considering admittance or do they just check to make sure there are no D's and F's?

Are you applying Regular Decision to Penn? If so, they WILL look at your first semester Senior Year grades and those grades WILL impact your admissions decision.

It might hurt your chances. I echo hardworking21’s statement.
