Midterm Report: by semester or by quarter?

<p>Soooo: regarding the midyear report:</p>

<p>Are the grades sent in by semester or by quarter? That is, will the college see your overall grade by midyear for each class or see the two marking period grades you got for your class? and looking at the common app, there's no place to put those grades...do you just send in a transcript or something?</p>

<p>It’s semester grades only, and your school counselor sends it in.</p>

<p>So do they just average your first 2 quarter grades and your midterm grades together?</p>

<p>Also, I don’t really know anything about this, but I was kind of under the impression that the midyear report policies differed for every high school? Or is there really a uniform method for sending senior grades?</p>

<p>Do the colleges add these grades into your GPA?
Can I wait to send in my transcript. Finals are the 26th of jan. deadline is 3/1 priority is 2/1</p>
