just chillin out... especially since i've gotten half of my decisions already! eliminates the anxiety quite a bit. just out of curiosity, do you think you could speak to the amount of freedom colby students have in choosing their courses? i know there is structure to the curriculum but i'm just wondering :-D good luck with mid terms!

Congrats on getting those decisions back--waiting can be such qwatsch. Any eagerly awaited acceptances?

Hrmm, in my experience, you can take whatever course piques your interest. The registrar and advisors generally will let you take whatever course you want if you persist on it enough. The only really limiting factors on what courses you take are the requirements for whatever major you hope to have and the few Liberal Arts requirements (Art, Science, Social Sciences, etc.) and the latter can usually be done in a few courses (a lot of courses fulfill more than one requirement). I feel very free, though, to take whatever classes I find interesting or advantageous.

Best of luck!
