Does being from the midwest increase my chances at college?
The Midwest? Aren’t you from California?
Its just a question. I’m just curious.

I wouldn’t say it inherently increases your chances, but being from the Midwest when applying to certain institutions with lower representation from the Midwest means it is less competitive. (i.e. Princeton admissions is more competitive for applicants from New Jersey as opposed to other states because there are more people applying from that area.) Colleges want a diverse class so your location can be a benefit or a hindrance depending on the school.
