OK, I don't know if anyone on here will know much about the schools I'm looking into, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
I'm at art history major and probably studio minor looking to transfer to a LAC in the midwest. I'm from Minnesota and go to the U of M and would like to stay nearby. I'm looking to transfer because I want to go to a smaller school with more of a community feel that the huge U.
Does anyone know anything about the art departments at either Luther College in Iowa or Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota?
At Gustavus I can do the double major in history and studio, which is cool, but it doesn't seem like they offer much in graphic design, and I'm thinking of doing art directing for a career if I don't go into museum/gallery stuff.
At Luther, on the other hand, studio and history are rolled into one general BA degree. Any thoughts on this? Or on Luther in general?
I also applied to UW Madison, but I think I'd come out an alcoholic if I went there HAHAHA

yeah not sure if anyone will have much input but I thought I'd give it a shot!
