Midwest LACs

If I did Tiers (arranged alphabetically):

Tier One:
Carleton
Grinnell
Kenyon
Oberlin
Macalester

Tier Two:
Beloit
Kalamazoo
Knox
Lawrence
St. Olaf

Tier 3:
Depauw
Denison
Earlham
Illinois Weslyan
Lake Forest

Tier 4:
Luther
Ohio Wesleyan
Ripon
Wittenburg

Meh IWU is very underrated. They are for sure a tier 2.

I do like the idea of tiering but four tiers just strings things out too much.

I also can’t see any ratings difference or academic strength differences between Kalamazoo and Illinois Wesleyan worth noting.

What about William Jewell?

And…I’d make a list of my own but I know nothing about Midwest LACs. The only schools in the Midwest I even looked into were Michigan, Jewell, Creighton, and Lake Forest. I’ve heard of Grinnell, Knox, and Oberlin from friends that are going there…

Is anyone here familiar with Wittenberg?
