Midwest NYU EDers!

Post here when you get notified (if you want)! Since we're stuck in the middle it's hard to tell when we'll get our letters...

Oo, I'm applying RD but I'm from Iowa...good luck to everyone; I'll be checking back to see who made it from the Midwest!

I'm so nervious and pessimistic. Everyone here has higher stats than me!!! Hopefully being from Indiana might be a hook?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'm a totally pessimist too, though. I wonder how many people from our area apply and get in. That'd be an interesting stat. Speaking of, what ARE your stats? I'm sure you'll be fine. :)

uh... let's just say I meet the requirements, but they don't stand out.

Oh, I gotcha. Well I hope you get in. good luck with everything!

Thanks!! I'm sorry for not posting stats, it just annoys me when people post stats to see their "chances" of getting in.

Yeah. It was more for my benefit than yours. I'm just as nervous so I want to see how I compare. But yeah, I totally understand where you're coming from (although I'll probably request a "chance" too soothe my worries in January).

By the way, this has become more of a not-so-instant-messenger between us two...awesome, there's nobody from the Midwest on CC. Haha.

Actually, I applied ED to stern, and I'm from cincinnati :)

I love how everyone else gets all excited when they find someone on CC from the same county and we get excited when we find someone from the same region! So we got Iowa, Ohio, and Indiana. Any Michigan or Illinois? Represent! lol

does CO count as mid west, or west, hmm have still not heard anything

I think that CO is more west. The Midwest is more like Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin etc.

haha i suppose so, although denverites consider west as west of the rockies
