Midwest or East Coast!

You've probably seen this thread everywhere else. I was told to put it here, but for some reason couldn't find it. Not trying to spam, really!

But:

Sarah Lawrence College or Earlham College?

I am having a hard time choosing between the two, and am asking for input.

I am interested in literature, languages, and economics. I have not visited either, but am from a small town, and prefer a small town feel. I am not sure if the student bodies are the same, or what the benefits of one over the other would be.

Anything helps!

bumpitybump.

Same cost? Where are you from-east coast or midwest? Any other criteria besides small town feel and good depts in the areas you listed? I assume the cultures are different, so any comments on your potential fit? Did you visit either or both?

I recently visited one, and I will visit the other soon!

I am from the West coast. I think I could fit in at both, but I’ll have to see after the visit.

Hello All,

I recently came back from visiting Both campuses, very last minute trips.

I realized that I enjoyed the academic aspect/location of Sarah Lawrence College more than Earlham, but liked Earlham’s social environment, sense of “tradition” and actual facilities better.

In that sense, I am very confused and now truly have no clue where to go. Both colleges yield the same net cost, within $3,000.

I would end up with the same amount of debt at either!

Would anyone care to comment now? Thanks!
