midwest public to east coast private?

Hey all. I'm a freshman at Ohio State (soph by credits) hoping to transfer to Cornell, Georgetown, or Penn. I also applied to Vanderbilt, but have pretty much changed my mind on it since.

My College Stats:
3.9 GPA (3.8 first quarter, 4.0 second) - 3 honors classes
Undergrad Economics Society
Circle K
Research Assistant
Honors Student

HS Stats:
3.99uw, 4.66w GPA
2 of 170
33 ACT
7 AP courses (5 macro, 5 micro, 5 calc, 4 english, 4 us history, 3 bio, 3 euro history - these are all of the courses my hs offered)
Captain, Tennis team (4 letters)
Captain, Academic team
Vice President, Key Club
1st seat trumpet
TV game show appearance
2-time top 6 finish in tri-state debate
AP scholar with distinction
Arion Award for Musical Achievement (national)
Ohio High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete award
English, Spanish, Business/Econ departmental awards
Co-founded church's chess program for area youths

I only listed here what I included in my apps. I've done a lot more, but, regrettably, couldn't include all of it in my apps.

My essays focused on my desire to return to Appalachia and fix the economic/political structures of my area, my autistic brother, and my cancer-surviving parents.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Oh, and I also mentioned in my apps that I got to review an Idaho congressman's stimulus plan from its infancy and that I've discussed with a candidate for Ohio Governor the state of Appalachian health and education programs.
Oh, and that I'm corresponding with a local mayor about health initiatives in Appalachia.

Impressive stats. As long as you don't make your essay too banal or sappy, I think you're in excellent shape at every school. Which college at Cornell are you applying to?

CAS. i think it's the hardest to get into :(

Not quite. AAP has a lower acceptance rate :) But still, I think you're certainly at the top of the applicant pool, stats-wise.

Thanks! :) Cornell's actually my first choice since their CAS shares professors with the industrial & labor relations school, which i'll need. plus, i have a specific professor there who i really respect and would like to study under (i noted that in one of the essays). At this point, I'm just waiting the couple of months, hoping!
