The Midyear and Final reports are almost identical to the Secondary School Report. Do we really need to send in the complete evaluations three times, or can we just send in updated transcripts after the 1st and 2nd semesters?

I would send the whole thing just to be safe... our counselors do those anyway.

the whole thing three times??

it seems retarded but it's there on the common app right? They control your future and whether or not you attend their school next year, and all you have to do is send them a form. Just do it :)

all you do is send in the midyear report. if you decide to go, then you send in the final report. game. set. match.

I guess you guys didn't read the note at the top of the second page of the midyear/final report.
It tells the counselor that they should fill out the second page only if the information has changed (your class rank, GPA, ratings section, recommendation). for most people, these have not changed and therefore most counselor only need to submit the first page
the above poster is also correct in that you only send the final report to one school... the school you have decided to attend

yeah the midyear report is used to see if someting like your cummulative gpa or rank or something like that has changed. if not then you just have your counselor sign it and send it in. the final report you send in once you decide to go there and after your final sneior grades come out. but yes it is a somewhat repetitive process.
