Sorry, I'm sure this has come up, but searching the forums didn't turn up any threads, so help is appreciated.

For a variety of reasons (I won't bore you with the list) I wasn't able to print up midyear report forms until today, Feb. 12.
Apparently, they were due Feb. 1 in almost all cases, and Feb. 10 in the case of a few exceptions.

I'm having my counselor send them tomorrow, preferablely by fax since I'm not sure how quick mail from Germany to the US is, but tell me:

Uh, I don't think so....Our school had issues with mid-years and nothing went out until this week; they did not inform any of the schools involved...If you are really concerned, this would be a very good excuse to e-mail your admissions officer at your top schools and let them know it's coming...

at my school, our grades aren't even out yet. hell, i don't even know the grades in all my classes. don't worry!
fax is probably a good idea. germany to us? ehh.

No, it won't hurt if they're late. Schools end the semester at different dates, so I think they expect that not everyone can follow a deadline even if they set it.

Yes, it's okay. None of my colleges have received my Mid-Year Reports yet, because my high school's semester grades aren't due until way past February 1 and the counseling department is very slow about it. It would help if the guidance counselor sent a letter explaining why it's so late, though. It's fine. Don't worry.
