Hey. I just got my report card for 1st semester, and I'm considering sending a letter for a drop in grade for my A.P. US Govt class. I wanted to know whether I really should, or it's not a big deal. I have a reason for it; i went to the All-State music trip which caused me to miss 2 days worth of work and i couldnt study for an exam the following week and did bad cause of that one test. Ever since, I worked hard to bring my grade up to what I have now. Should I send this letter? I wrote that by no means did i "slack off" and I really didn't. Wow senior year really turned out to be harder than I thought! This is what I have so far for the 2 quarters in this semester. I tried to stay consistent, if not better, and this is my result. What do you think? Thanks a lot.

P.S.- Do you think it's late to send additional info? I'm waiting for this one competition result 2morrow and I'll probably add that and send the info to colleges.
