Midyear Report Deadline

My school ended its first semester at January 29, 2010, and had the report cards completed at February 9. Now that the grades are finalized, the midyear report will be sent (so as to include the 2nd quarter grades).

At these dates of my school, the midyear report might arrive late at Johns Hopkins!
Is this alright, given that the lateness is reasonable?

I have the same problem, but Im sure colleges will understand our situation. I have a quick question though. Mid year reports have to be mailed, right?

If an applicant’s school is unable to submit the mid-year report and senior year transcript by the February 15 deadline, we will still accept and process late reports. We request that the student’s school counselor submit the report and transcript as soon as it is available and mail it along with a short note regarding the delay. Do note that the mid-year report must be accompanied by a student’s transcript of 12th grade courses and current grades.

If a student would like this information submitted quicker, then they must request that the mid-year report and transcript be faxed by their school counselor to 410-516-6025. We will only accepted faxed materials from a school counselor for it to be considered official.

Mid-year reports can also be uploaded by your counselor using the online application system, if your school has that ability. We will not process mid-year reports and updated transcripts submitted through e-mail.

Thank you AdmissionsDaniel.
