<p>Will this hurt me on my midyear report? I've had all As except for 2 Bs last year ranked number 1 too, but I got 3A- and a B- last semester, which is a significant decrease of 3.95+ to 3.52. They are all AP courses though. I only have 4 classes because I've done all of the APs at my school and am taking 2 other courses at a local university.</p>
<p>To be honest, unfortunately I think it will have a detrimental effect on your application. Is there any reason you could explain as the "cause" of the decrease (however A- aren't too bad, its only that B-). What are the other factors that you are presenting to the admissions committee? (SATs, ECs, etc.)</p>
