will going from a b- to a C in ap eng be justification for rescinding one’s acceptance? btw, i was accepted into the engineering school that was the only class i did worse in.

Probably not if they accepted you with the B- on the record. That's just a couple points away. Just don't let it slip anymore.

ouch .

Please dont make fun of me, but I just got a B- in APUS....the rest of my semester grades are all in the A range....what will the adcom think/do?

ive heard from college kids: B's dont matter, C's they might write you a letter of warning, D's theyll tell you to raise it up ASAP, F's youre out.. but i could be TOTALLY wrong since i personally dont know @ all... personally, ive been straight a and im prolly gonna have a few or several Bs this semester so dont worry

i dont think u get warning letters for C's.... more like D's.

ok, but B's for NOT YET accepted students are not good - right? or is 1 B- (especially senior year) going to f u c k me over?

again im not sure but thats why i put MIGHT get warning letters for C's especially since it depends what your grade was originally :) also by warning i meant like- dont let this fall anymore

what if it's just one class? i have a's and a b+ in all my other classes (physics c, calc bc, stat, span lang, h. anatomy). btw, penn also knew that i got a b- first mp b/c they asked for my report card right before decisions were made; i hope they won't consider it a major drop. should have been more clear in my original post.

Hey Faux, I wasn't meaning anything mean by my first reply at all. I was just saying that if they have seen that grade before, it changing slightly isn't that big of a deal. Now, if he was accepted with that grade as an A+ on the transcript, then that might be more of an issue because of the larger drop. But one bad grade isn't that big of a deal. It's senior year. I'm sure more people are going to have bigger drops than that.
