Ah! I just got a letter from Pitt stating they needed to see my midyear grades (does that include midterms?)! Is that bad, I got a 1930 on the SAT and a 28 on ACT...i thought that would be good enough. My junior year average was around a 94 and im taking 4 AP's this year...can anyone help me out. Thanks!

My daughter received the same letter a few weeks ago. She has a 3.4 gpa and a 1270/2000 on her most recent SATs, and 3 APs. On the bright side, all the people she knows who got the same letter last year were eventually admitted. You have to send your grades after midterm grades are issued, so I would assume midterm exams would be on the transcript. Good luck!

thank you. Good luck to your daughter as well.

Whether the information includes midterm exams depends on your high school. My d's high school did not include quarter grades or midterm exams on the transcript they sent with the midyear report; they sent only the semester grades.

Good luck to you both!
