I have nothing to write in the updates box for the MIT Midyear Report. They ask, "Know any good jokes or have a favorite inspirational quotation instead?" Is this really true or should I leave it blank? I feel like leaving it blank might indicate laziness and unoriginality on my part, but most of the science-related witticisms I know are from the Internet, which is the most unoriginal thing ever. Any suggestions for what to write? What about those who were accepted?

I wrote a random quote that has nothing to do with anything…

Since I turned in my app on approximately December 31st, I just wrote about what the rest of my senior year will entail… weight lifting, playing (karaoke/pool/basketball/etc.), my teacher assistant position, etc.etc. and in the end I just told them thanks for taking the time to review my application.

That’s about it, no cheesy quotes or an epic saga about curing cancer or anything. Then again… I’ll probably get rejected haha.

I rapped. I’m an Eminem that sees words as numbers.

Did you really rap?
