How important are mid-year grade reports as an ED2 applicant? I know that my math grade went down and I am afraid that with my stats ( 3.1, 1900 SAT) they may not realize how hard I am actually working despite my downward trend in math...

As long as you don’t get straight Ds or anything below that you’re fine. I’d still shoot for a minimum of Bs though. o.O

I also applied ED2 and have a C in math. Hopefully everything else will help us though!

Do EDII applicants even have to submit mid-year grade reports? It’s not on the checklist, and for me I don’t think my school would be able to release that info before early Feb.

On GW’s website it says that we do have to. I have not yet received access to the portal so I don’t know what it says on there. Is that what you meant by the checklist?

I know that all admitted EDI and EDII students eventually have to submit mid-year and last semester grades, but I’m thinking that us EDII people don’t have to submit mid-year grades before we find out whether we’ve been accepted. It’s on the regular decision checklist but not the EDII checklist. Is this not the case?

I apolgize, I thought you meant before we find out. To my knowledge, you are correct.

So I should tell my school not to send them until after I hear? … My school can send them automatically in the beginning of feb so would GW even have time to look them over … I feel like they would already have a decision made by then. My school only submits the 1st semester grades not midterms …

I don’t think they would look at it before they admit you!
