My transcripts were sent out early this year before our school ranked us. At that time all mine said was top 5%. I just found out today that I've moved up to #2 in my class (which is more like top 1%) . When I sent out my midyear grades, it didn't ask anything about rank. I'm thinking that my new rank may be beneficial to me. Would it be a bad idea to send a new transcript with my rank to the addmissions office? I hate to turn this into a chances thread, but with a 670 v 560 m and 640 w and as #2 in my class (in state) what do you think i'm looking at? I'm curiuos just based on my stats. I have loads of sports/extra curriculars/leadership positions and all that other stuff. As previously posted, I also have a non-academic suspension on my record. Thanks for any feedback.

I don't think it would ever be a bad idea to show improvement in your class, especially for the midyear report. I would go ahead and send it in.
