I just had my guidance counselor send in my midyear reports a few days ago. My school does block scheduling, but half of my classes are all year classes. AP Physics B, AP English Lit & AP MacroEcon (The last two are a "seminar" class so we switch off having those two classes every other day but I have those classes all year). I asked my GC if my colleges would see the two quarter grades since I didnt have a final grade or a semester grade in those classes. He said that he would send my report card so the schools could see what my quarter grades. I just have a few concerns about this:

1) In AP Calc AB I got A B both quarters. Since I felt that I had a good grasp on the material I didn't feel that I needed to study much for the final, and since I had two B's I didnt need to to amazing on it to get a B as my final grade. The final ended up killing me and I got a D on it. Since my final grade is still a B will they care about what I got on the final or will this count against me?

2) In AP English Literature I got a B first quarter and a C 2nd quarter. how much will this count against me? My other grades were:

Computer Science: A, A
AP Physics B: A, B
AP MacroEcon: A, A
AP Eng. Lit: B, C
AP Calc AB: B, B

how much will that C count against me?
