<p>should one send the midyear report if it lowers their chances of admission? Because most universities say they dont require it for students from trimester systems..</p>

<p>If it's not required and you think it'll lower your chances, then common sense says you shouldn't send it.</p>

Call the school(s) and ask whether or not they require a midyear report if you can't figure it out from the resources available to you online (besides forums).
Then you can decide whether it's actually a bad midyear report or not. If you're certain that it is, then don't send it if the schools say it isn't required.</p>
