Midyear report

I applied for priority admission and was deferred.
I got an email saying that I was deferred and the email said not to send the mid year report since it will only slow the application process. However, my counselor has already sent midyear report to all the schools I applied at once.....Would this be a problem? Could this hurt my chance since I didn't follow the instruction in the email because I didn't know that my counselor sent out those reports.

And after being deferred, I retook SAT in Dec and sent the new scores to UIUC but my application status hasn't been updated since I was deferred...Is anyone having the same problem? I should have called the school to make sure if they got my new score but the lady on the phone scares me much.

Thank you!

If the lady scares you much. The schools not worth it.

Application status on-line showing test score is not updated when a new score is sent because it is designed simply to show that you have provided a required test for admission. December SAT score will be considered assuming it has a higher composite than prior test – UIUC does not superscore but instead considers that particular test with the highest composite).

UIUC will not consider the mid-year report for admission. However, having sent one has no impact one way or the other (those doing admissions decisions won’t even get it and won’t know it has been sent).
