So when should we start sending in our midyear reports? all my colleges require them, but seriously don't you think it would be fine to just send them my seventh semester transcript in lieu of the midyear report and a transcript----i used the commonapp and the part that my counselor has to fill out is honestly pointless---my counselor is really slow and complains about recieving this stuff- i seriously feel like no one else needs these at my school--so should i just drop the added paper work and simply send in my cumulative transcript?

Colleges use mid-year transcripts differently. Some colleges won't make a decision until they get it. Other colleges only use it in borderline cases.

Bring in your mid-year reports to your counselors...He/she may or may not use it...Many high schools send out 7th semester grades in batches (i.e. all students that applied to school x will have their grades sent in the same packet)

bump, por favor

Your counselor is responsible for mailing out the midyear report along with your transcript. If the school is requesting your midyear report, they will be using it to evaluate you in the selection process as they still will want to see that you are still on an upward trend (or atleast maintaining if you have already achieved it), you are taking the most rigerous courses your school offers and you are doing well.

I've already sent mine out.

i'm from venezuela and i've already finished high-school, i should send a mid year report anyway? But i'm not in classes anymore! what should i do?

bump!!!!!!!

and remember to use 39 cent stamps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
