So I had already requested my midyear transcripts be sent to schools right after first semester ended in January, so I thought it was fine until one school emailed me about it around March 11. I went to the guidance office and my counselor claimed that I had never requested the transcripts be sent, but said that she would send them out then.

Now I realize that I missed a bunch of schools' deadlines by a LOT. Am I completely screwed now?

Oh and as additional info, when I login to different schools' portals now, it doesn't say I have any missing materials.....does that mean they waited until they got my stuff to make a decision....or do you think they just automatically rejected me?

Get over it. Schools realize that schools sometimes make mistakes. You’ll be fine. Schools will still accept the midyear report. I would imagine the other schools are not holding the lack of midyear reports against you.

If you applied using the Common App, your counselor in their school report upload your transcript with it, and they do your mid year as well. That is the case most of the time. From time to time some don’t, even though they should, and that is why it’s always a good idea to request them anyway. Any who typically when colleges not that, they will let you know if they haven’t received your transcript, and give you time to send it, or they will personally call the office and ask a transcript to be faxed to you. You’ll be alright. Don’t stress too hard.
