Nowhere on the NYU site could I find what to do about Midyear reports...

Do we have to send them? If so, how?

Thanks, all.

nope, they don't need them...just a final transcript

check out the boards at admissions.nyu.edu

By final transcript do you mean our transcript in june if we've been admitted?

indubitably

wonderwall,

yeah

what if your school automatically sends them? do they then take it as part of ur admissions decision?

Most likely

can anyone verify this? cus all i got all As but in AP Physics C my report is gonna show

marking p1: B
marking p2: C
midterm: A

how badly with that hurt me

Dude, keep in mind that it's likely that most decisions are pretty much finalized by now. That's why the GSP letters have gone out. So worrying about it won't do you any good at this point.

matth...what do you mean? do you mean the "dude" is screwed or worrying over nothing? I'm still sweating over that 70 I got for A.P English. Shhh--t

What I meant was worrying serves no purpose. The grades you get on your mid-year which they won't even see matter little. It's what was on your transcript when you applied, and then if you're accepted, it's what's on your final transcript in June. If your school sent a mid-year automatically, who knows if they'll look at it. Probably only if you were on the edge anyway. I doubt it would make or break any decision.

Dude, this sucks. I automatically assumed they needed a midyear, and so I sent it, and my 2nd quarter grades are less than stellar, and now they have a report that they DON'T NEED. 80 in AP Physics and 82 in Honors Precalc, but my other grades are OK -- will this hurt me? Did I blow it? Wow. Mother effer.

I don't think senior grades matter as much. I was accepted ED and my GC had sent my first quarter grades. I had a 75 in AP Biology. I got an 82 for the semester though, so I'm bringing it up. My teacher is just a tough grader and he has never taught AP Bio before.

okay how about this (these were my fall semester grades):
A.P English --70(lowest ever)
Poetry-88(I had 88 as my lowest grade for Engl. before)
A.P Euro History--85(lowest grade)
Gov't--85(lowest grade)
A.P Psych--80(all science grades were 80, so this is no suprise)
Latin--80 (grade before was a 70, so I improved)

am I in deep crap?
