average SAT score is 1480 out of 2400
we send a kid to an ivy about once every 3 years...its been God knows how many years since someone went to Princeton (I'm guessing since the 80s or 90s)</p>

<p>I've taken the most challenging courseload I can take at my school</p>

<p>now to the bad part</p>

<p>EC's (there isn't much to do at my school...)</p>

<p>I've been trying to get a job for a while, but its difficult if you're 16 and you don't have connections...(I turn 17 this week)</p>

<p>I managed to volunteer at Mount Sinai Medical Center over the summer because my dad works there....</p>

<p>not many awards available either...(no princeton book award or anything like that)</p>

NJ Governor's School in Sciences nominee
Boys' State and other leadership conferences (NYLC, NYLF, etc...) nominee....</p>

<p>I think my essays are pretty good, one is about a unique experience I had with a friend of mine who visited my mosque and how I learned from him...The other is about an influential academic experience....</p>

<p>Once I wrote this, I realized how bad this looks, lol, but do i have as good a shot as anyone?</p>
