So, when I originally attended CC in 2011 I did horribly, horrible to the point where my overall gpa was a 2.1. I earned 9 transferable credits. I then decided it was best that I take some years off to figure out what was best for me. I started up taking classes again full time in May of 17. During my time off I ran my own business that is still open. Since starting school again in May I have completed 30 units with a 3.77 gpa. My question is with my own business as an EC and my gpa since starting back up do I have any chance of getting into USC?
USC has a great track record with accepting transfers from CA community colleges. Your recent accomplishments will definitely help. I would contact admissions, but understand that right now they are working through freshman applications. Here’s some info I found online in about 30 seconds (so do your research before you contact them, including knowing which counselor covers your geographic area).

@jmek15 I’ve actually been talking to an Admissions counselor since May about my track record and recent performance. So I’m hoping that what I’m doing now really makes up for my performance from my first try. Thank you
That is great, @redngoldhopeful! I hope it works out!
@jmek15 much appreciated, praying for the best!
