I have applied to all the UCs with a 3.5 gpa. Unfortunately, I might fail a class in my first semester of 12th grade due to cheating policy. I tried to convince my teacher but she says that I have to make up the course either in summer school or second semester in another school. Will this affect my admission to like UCR or UCI even if I agree to retake the course.

What do you mean by “cheating policy?” did you cheat or is it an unfair accusation?

It is an unfair accusation but I will still receive an F in the first semester no matter how hard I try in the class. I actually have a B.

If you fail a class 1st semester the UC schools require you notify them. You can find this policy on the admission websites of the campuses you have applied, as well as info on how to notify them.

If it is an unfair accusation then you really need to get your parents involved at this point, talking to the teacher and then the principal since the potential impact is so huge.
