Mile times??

I recently got into track and XC, 5:40
hoping to get sub 5 in 1-2 months

Yeah… I get 12 min on a good day.

4:21 last outdoor season

Sent from my DROIDX using CC

My best is 5:32…but I got injured right at my peak that year. I’m hoping to get at least 5:10 this season

My last timed mile was 8:00 exactly for my gym final last year a month after lacrosse had ended and with minimal running during class. My mile will be way below that after lacrosse ends this year and I plan to actually time it.

Before I hurt my knee, I got it down to a little under 6. I killed myself in middle school to get that, and then I hurt my knee and I couldn’t do very well in cross country when I finally got to high school. Ah, well. Made some good friends on the team, and it was great overall.

I was stuck at the 6:00 barrier for quite a while. I’m an XC runner, but don’t do track. One time during my junior year, during the first mile of a really fast course, my coach yelled “5:47!”, and I turned my head around and blurted out “You’re kidding!” mid-race.

Then we had to run the mile in PE. As of now, my best is 5:30.

Can run a sub 5:30 though I haven’t ran a timed mile since 9th grade so probably faster now since I still run.

Best time ever was 5:57 when I did XC skiing in 9th grade. That stuff is literally the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Ran one for school in the fall and got like 7:15 lol

Ran a 5:45 in eight grade with no training, and that was my last time trial. Now its my sophomore year with a fall of cross and a winter of training behind my back. Long story short, hoping for something in the sub-5:00 range by the first track meet.

update: got a 5:02 on the 1500m  PB

around 15:00. I’m not a runner though ;)

6:45, but I’m not a runner. I play field hockey and lacrosse

Junior

Ran XC in the fall for the first time, my 5K was usually 18:00-18:30.

This spring is my first time running track, I know from a tough XC workout we did that I can at least go under 5. I expect that I can run 4:45-4:55 under ideal conditions but I haven’t raced yet.

I do XC (unprofessionally, not part of a club for it) but if running just 1 mile straight, I can do 6:30. I usually run 7 to 8 minute miles on my 5ks. I am working on getting faster, but I destroyed my knees playing baseball :/
