Military dependent - am I eligible for in-state tuition in Michigan?

<p>My dad is in the Army and we currently live in Michigan, we've lived here since the beginning of my Sophomore year (currently in my junior year). But my dad is retiring 6 months before I graduate high school and there's a possibility that he would move out of state, but my mom would stay in michigan at least until I start college. We were wondering if I would be eligible for in state tuition? If my dad retires but DOESN'T move out of state before i start college, am i eligible?
I was reading the in-state tuition requirements of U of M and MSU and they seem really complicated. Basically, I want to go to college in Michigan and pay in-state tuition, but my parents want to leave Michigan and move asap.</p>

If a student, or the parent of a dependent student, moves out of Michigan during the time he/she is enrolled at the University, the student’s in-state classification will be maintained as long as he/she continues to be enrolled. If a student moves out of Michigan for more than 12 months while enrolled as a less than full-time student, the student will be reclassified to out-of-state status, unless the student presents clear and convincing evidence that he/she has maintained his/her domicile in Michigan despite the move.
