<p>Someone told me that this school was listed in some of the books as a top academic school. Anyone heard of it. Is it strong in biology,sciences? Merit scholarships?</p>
<p>My two older students both applied and were accepted at Millersville but neither chose to attend. It's a nice state school, well priced, pretty campus. Friends of my kids attend there now and I know several alumni, all had a great college experience and are (mostly) working in the field they graduated in. The price is pretty low to begin with and I don't think there is much merit money given. My daughter was admitted to the honors college and there might have been a small amount offered as a perk for that. I think the two most popular majors are business and education, as is true for most of PA state schools.</p>
