MILLS COLLEGE with a low GPA and SAT.

I'm an Asian girl in CA,
have 2.93 gpa,
I am not president for two clubs that I have involved in for over two years.
I have about 6 different volunteer activities that I've been keeping up for all over 2 years.
Volunteered in a fair trade store that is only one in CA for 4 years, have about 600 hours of volunteering hours.
I have two great teachers who are willing to give me letters of recommendation

then... I have 2.93 GPA. without any AP classes except this year.
I have SAT score of 1770.
yes... this is bad for an Asian kid, and it is a failure, i know.

I had just too much drama during my junior year which caused me this failure.
and My GPA as senior year is 3.5 so far with an AP art history class.

FYI, in about.com it says:
"Mills College has selective admissions -- more than a third of all applicants will receive rejection letters. In the graph above, the blue and green dots represent accepted students. You can see that the majority of successful applicants had high school GPAs of "B+" or better, combined SAT scores (CR+M+W) of 1600 or higher, and ACT composite scores of 22 or better. Your chances are significantly better if your numbers are above these lower ranges."<a href="http://collegeapps.about.com/od/GPA-SAT-ACT-Graphs/ss/mills-college-admission-gpa-sat-act.htm">http://collegeapps.about.com/od/GPA-SAT-ACT-Graphs/ss/mills-college-admission-gpa-sat-act.htm</a></p>

I really want to go to this school, or else I'll have to go to CC...
This school is close to where I want to spend rest of my life, so I'm really desperate here.

I'm thinking of taking another SAT on December, but I'm not sure.
any chances?

P.S I have about 5 personal statements done, so if anyone wants to help me out with it,
please PM me!

I’d say that you might have a chance.

Bump!
Can anyone give me their gpa and sat please?
