MIMG majors please read

How do you like your major? Would you say that there's a lot of memorization or more problem-solving?

What are you studying?

Lol what a coincidence
I HATE ITTT
Finallyyyyy switched out of that **** on Friday and felt so liberated. hahaha

Well if you liked LS3/4, you'll probably like it. Def. wasn't my cup of tea. I was dreading taking the rest of the courses because it didn't interest me at all, so I got outta there. I'd say choose this major only if it genuinely interests you, I know some people who really love it.
MIMG reqs I took were 101, 102, 103L (+ chem 153/153L).
101/103L tests are half the type where you have to make up an experiment to prove hypothesis/problem-solving/analyze, other half are short answer/simple memorization q's.
I took 101 w/ both bradley/gunsalus & hill/lazazzera...had to retake cuz I screwed up last spring due to personal issues, not because it was sooo hard. yahh not doing so hot this quarter either lol because i don't really care about it at all
102 is pretty easy if you study, even if you suck @ molec. bio. Tests are pretty much all memorization, Dasgupta will give hints @ review session so go.
103L is brand new course so it'll be different for future classes. So far labs are not that bad but it is a lot of work. Dr. SL is nice but makes hard exams. She was saying other week she loves to make finals really hard so people dont finish. one time she made some gene sudoku thing? haha

so what did you switch to? I'm goign to switch to MIMG tomorrow from neuroscience

MIMG-->neuroscience is a good choice. Neuro is like the best life science major because it's super interesting and it isn't even that hard (so far)
