Mind Chancing Me at BC and more?

<p>Hey guys! I was wondering if you would mind chancing me?</p>

<p>I'm a white middle class female with
GPA: 3.9 unweighted
Class Rank: Hasn't been calculated yet, but I'm assuming top 15%. (i have a really smart class. its a bummer.)
SAT: 2140 (first time taking it. plan on retaking after some serious studying.)</p>

<p>APs:
My school is pretty limited on APs, so junior year I took AP Bio and senior year I will take AP Gov, AP Spanish, and AP Chem</p>

<p>ECs
-member of the tennis team
-member of the basketball team
-Member of Club promoting an end to violence and racism
-swim teacher for special needs students
-National Honor Society</p>

<p>Please chance me at
-Boston College (both parents attended, as well as both grandfathers, and two aunts)
-Notre Dame
-UCLA</p>

<p>I understand these are very tough schools to get into. Please be honest. I can take it. :)</p>

<p>Thanks so much!</p>

<p>BC - Yes, always good to be a double legacy
Notre Dame - Maybe –> Yes. Your profile fits, but it’s just very tough to get into
UCLA - No Info</p>

<p>BC- in
Notre Dame- not sure
UCLA- depends on whether you’re instate. if so, it’s a toss-up. if you’re out of state, I think it’s a reach.</p>

<p>BC - definite match, you have a really good shot (the legacy will really help here)
Notre Dame - definite reach, it’s hard for anyone, but if your Catholic it will help, maybe consider taking the ACT…
UCLA - a slight reach, doable, you have good odds, but it is hard for anyone out of state…You might want to bump that SAT score even just 60+ to make you a more competitive applicant </p>

<p>You’ll generally have great odds wherever you apply with your GPA/SAT, a well-rounded, albeit somewhat ordinary applicant
Good luck for the future! :D</p>

<p>thanks so much guys!
and im out of state for ucla, so its gonna be that much harder :(</p>

<p>BC-you are in!
Notre Dame-get those SATs up above a 2200 and you’ll be competitive
UCLA-being OOS might cost you UCLA</p>

<p>thank you so much. i really appreciate you guys doing this. my guidance counselor kind of fails at this kind of thing (he told my cousin not to waste his money applying to tufts because there was no way in hell he would get in. he is currently attending tufts.)</p>
