Here in india we have the final board exam in march. The results come out around end may.
As I'm wondering, say I get accepted into Stanford or Harvard.,.
I will have to reply to either by 1st of may.

Now as Stanford specifically mentions.... We will rescind your admission if you don't keep up your scores...
So, what would that score for me be. Around 85%??
Since my board is very tough, anything above 75% is distinction and considered to be good...

I just wanted to confirm what score will be a bare minimum... Although I'm going to do my best!!

Rescind is very rare. They happen in situations like caught lying on your app, fail to graduate, failed classes, legal issues, etc. Even then you can appeal them.

I assume you are talking about graduation requirements ? I don think thats something they would normally look at. If it isnt on the transcript for sure not.

But we have to send a final transcript (senior year grades), don’t we?
So, what would a ‘cut-off’ there be?

You can’t fail as defined by your school.

Stanford reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission under certain circumstances, including: 1) if there is a significant drop in academic performance or a failure to graduate (in the applicant’s current program).
I guess that’s about it.
So, basically it shouldn’t fall drastically.
